Simulate 'left-click hold' on MBA keyboard ?

hi folks ...

long time pc pro, brand new apple, setting office desk space.
have question i've not been able answer anyplace else.
appreciate thoughts on this.

keep 13" mba open @ right hand.
have wireless keyboard in front of me 22" monitor in front of that.
use both screens (swipe windows screen screen).
, use laptop's trackpad mouse navigation.

question ...
can customize key or keys-combination, on wireless keyboard, simulate 'holding left mouse button' ?

able hold key on wireless keyboard (with left hand) while moving mouse using trackpad (with right hand) thereby dragging , dropping.

more comfortable current setup requires me put both hands on trackpad ... on right side.

of course can two-fingers of right hand on trackpad, when moving short distances.

appreciate feedback customizing key simulate left-click , hold event.

i'm not sure if it's capable of you're asking have haven't tried bettertouchtool great things this. worth looking at.
