Screen protector question

what meant static cling films?

im planning on getting 3m screen protectors iphone 4s.
on product detail in it's website, states doesn't leave residue. therefore, film adhesive considered "static cling"?

so, can said static films screen protectors doesn't require liquid stick unlike adhesive films require liquids stick zagg invisible shields?

static cling means protectors not require liquid apply. static cling films can removed , re-positioned. quality of static films if dust, can apply scotch tape sticky side , remove without damaging film.
