samsung dvi to G5 macintosh dvi Problem, Please Help

i have samsung dvi macintosh g5 dvi problem.
have owned 2 large screen display monitors samsung , have had same problem them both. using 1 of them now.

every morning when start equipment , finished "starting", plaid looking design on large display, until unplug & plug in dvi cable @ computer. once i've done resets & begins work perfectly, until turn them off.

happens every time @ start-up.

why this..?
