so tried install windows 7 using bootcamp utility. after restarting computer, asked partition install to. picked partition4: boot camp. said wasn't proper format, thought there wouldn't harm in formatting partition. after re-formatting it, said go ahead. install failed, , when start macbook pro, blank white screen , blank command prompt style screen. button i've been able recognize eject. have royally screwed myself within day of owning first mac?
resolved: reset nvram/pram using step listed in here http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2570. seems running fine now.
