my macbook has problem left command key. checked "keyboard viewer" , find none of combinations of left command + z/x/c/v/b/n/m works. shows left command key pressed, z/x/c/v/b/n/m key gives no response. can't use copy/paste left command key shortcuts. other left command shortcuts, left command key works( e.g. left command + a/s/d/f/g/h/j/k/l/q/w/e/r/t/y/u/i/o/p works).
indeed, right command key working can use right command key shortcuts( including copy/paste).

notes:
(i) have checked universal access/speech system preferences, of functions turned off
(ii) keyboard shortcuts have been restored several times still left command doesn't work.
(iii)the softwares used photoshop/adobe acrobat pro/word,excel/pages,notes/preview
(iv) disk utility permission repair doesn't help
(v) after switching guest account, first few second copy/paste worked, after window "trusteer rapport update" poped out, left command shortcuts copy/paster no longer worked. deleted rapport files in safe mode after restart, still left command shortcuts copy/paste doesn't work. (double checked restart)
