iPad mirroring with no network?

hello!! here's situation. school, (because apple tv small) want take , use keynote have presentations. don't want have bring windows laptop, if necessary that. apple tv recognize ipad without having connect network. know can cable, whole point of go wireless can walk around room no huge cable coming off ipad. i'm wondering if can create sort of network, not ad hoc, because aware apple tv not support that, allow me so. said, if have bring laptop school (mind it's windows, not mac) can, have sitting there center connection. appriciated!

also, i'm not sure if it's me not looking hard enough, have not found has asked this. also, come in handy when out @ camp there no wifi connection , can wirelessly stream videos on ipad tv there.

you can wirelessly mirror ipad atv if both connected same wifi network. you'd either have join school's existing wifi network or somehow create own.
