Individual application volume control?

hello,

thing miss using windows (and mean thing) fact can control volume of individual applications system tray.

can't believe feature missing os x... seems obvious!

know apple try encourage developers put volume control in apps, not this, , when it's inconvenient , fiddly (for example, wanting listen itunes whilst playing game via steam while talking friends on skype, it's hard volume right using itunes/steam/skype volume control).

feature on mountain lion? think have been mentioned if was, i'm making absolutely sure...

 

this feature doesn't exist in ml. however, agree it'd include sort of api allow centralized volume control. it'd easy integrate volume menubar item, sort of windows master setting , few more granular controls per-application.
