Do I need SHSH Blobs?

so got iphone 4s

had jailbroken last week still on ios 5.0.1.


know apple no longer signing ios 5.0.1 have heard shsh blobs.


don't know how use them or how work.


want know need them in future if ever need restore iphone , if itunes forces me upgrade?

 

no, shsh's don't work same way used ( mean on a5 devices 4s , ipad 2/3). there no way of going once upgrade 5.1.
