Copying files in order - Mac to HDD

hey guys, quick question:

there tool, or way copy several files mac external hd, while preserving order of files? ask because i'm trying match alphabetical order of files in mac, file allocation table.

hdd used on philips tv, , files mkv , avi files. since tv dumb, shows order of files copied, hence need copy files in same order show in mac.

in advance!

 

you use terminal command rsync copy alphabetically.

command this:

rsync -rv /users/username/videos/ /volumes/externalhd

need use correct paths both source , destination, rsync copy alphabetically. luck
