Can my iPad1 apps be downloaded again for free on a new iPad3?

i purchased lots of apps , books original ipad1. can downloaded again free on new ipad3? have set new ipad3 specific way insure don’t have pay again?

 

of course, connect new ipad , restore previous backup.
