2010 HD Replacement

in light of seeing hd issues thought arm myself knowledge if ever have such issue.

have mid 2010 i7 1tb hd. if ever fail, run local store , pick hd , replace without issues?

main worries fan speed issues people see ssd's. hd's have thermal sensor built in?

imac source of income if happens want able remedy quickly.
