Smart cover hinge damage/scratches?

i've noticed there scratches on smart cover hinge (not ipad), doesn't big deal in picture, it's noticeable in real life. iphone can't macro shots, sorry that.
common thing everyone? have none of protections such cover, sgp screen film, none. ipad , smart cover.
