Canadian iTunes card in American account?

i received itunes gift card in canada.

i'm surprised can used in canada.

there way can use it?

 

i had similar thing between uk , itunes card. can assure pushed apple as , in end managed nowhere! if find way them honor card, please let me know because things stand have $100 worth of itunes card , can't use account in uk.
