iTunes Movies won't sync to iPhone or iPad

posted in ipad forum earlier week, didn't response-- thought i'd repost here.

itunes movie downloads won't sync ipad (new) or iphone 4. keep getting error message stating i'm not authorized sync these movies. computer authorized itunes acct-- tried deauthorizing & reauthorizing. using 1 itunes account, shouldn't complicated. these same movies play fine on our apple tv using home sharing. downloaded them on ipad "purchased" within itunes store, , play fine. takes lot longer syncing though.

testing purposes, added movies flash drive , copied them on itunes on authorized work imac-- synced successfully. there issue mbp @ home.

has else had problem? advice?
