imovie 11 editing

i recorded footage 2 video cameras , want know how cut 1 camera @ precision edit. know how this.

 

in fcpx there's multi cam ediiting. can play both videos , live choose on makes cut.

can layer in fcpx , edit parts out top video layer.

imovie doesn't have multi cam, nor have real layers. there's possibility add video on top of one. cut out pieces, think horrible in execution.

drag , drop parts each video timeline. use precision editor make them connect each other properly. still quite hassle.

pherhaps there's better way, not know off (i'm not familiar either imovie).
