10.6.8 PPTP VPN Issues

i swear worked 2 weeks ago old place in states, of course in london doesn't work.

setup macbook running 10.6.8 server in dad's basement. has static ip 192.168.1.40. ip in dmz of actiontec router connected 20/20 fios service.

have pptp enabled (40bit , 128 bit) , using ms-chapv2 authentication.

possible issues. trying connect via tethering mobile phone. pretty sure did 2 weeks ago , worked fine. on t-mobile , on three.

sounds gre tunnel can't established. may worth contacting 3 see if support pptp vpns.

in meantime, try link, generic, quite helpful...
