Does any tethering app do Wifi without encryption?

i have device (trimble tsc2 data collector running windows mobile 5) trying tether iphone. problem device not read wpa2, read wep encryption. not recognize services when pair them via bluetooth, services page remains blank. prefer usb tether can find apps have drivers windows mobile 5. figured best option encryption free tethering app. have tried both miwi 5.0 , pdanet no luck.

not sure problem mywi lets use encryption or not, tethered usb , mywi encryption not used.
