Apple TV & Time Capsule hard drive

hi,

i'm new forum , have question on not find answer here yet.

have apple tv (1st gen) jailbroken atv flash. have connected seperate external hard drive on usb working after installing nito tv (smart installer). set external hard drive primary hd apple tv.

however: (entire) itunes library located on tc (2tb) connected imac, macbook air , apple tv (ethernet cable).
use hd tc external hd apple tv instead of external hd connected.

know can't use usb port tc connect apple tv know if has experience using usb ethernet converter. (thus: connecting usb port apple tv ethernet port tc , in way use hd of tc (external) hd apple tv).

before buying relatively expensive converter wanted ask if has ever tried work. perfect solution me having data on 1 location on tc independently accessible imac, macbook , apple tv.

wy need usb->ethernet when tv has built-in ethernet already?

if you've hacked tv should straightforward enough mount tc drive , use it.
