No Apple Pop-Up Store at SXSW Interactive 2012 in Austin

the austin american-statesman reports apple not opening special "pop-up" retail store @ city's massive sxsw festival year. apple briefly opened such store @ last year's festival support launch of ipad 2.

report notes, apple's decision suggest ipad 3 not launching during interactive portion of festival year, runs march 9-13. have suggested apple follow similar timing last year's announcement , release, put ipad 3 launch in united states on friday, march 16, 9 days after tomorrow's unveiling.
