Meet the world's tiniest chameleon

species of chameleon small enough perch on match head has been discovered on tiny island off madagascar, group of scientists has announced. in addition discovery of brookesia micra, tiniest chameleon ever discovered, researchers announced discovery of 3 additional tiny chameleon species. adult males of b. micra species grow on half-inch (16 millimeters) nose bottom, making them 1 of smallest vertebrates ever found on earth. nose tail, adults of both sexes grow 1 inch (30 mm) in length.
