iMovie problem

hello... welcome video plays on first- boot, , want on itunes. so... got intro.mov , intro-sound.mp3 setup assistant app, , copied them desktop. next, opened imovie 06 (hd) , hit "create new project". copied intro movie , sound project... , ran problem. video half quality of original! mean, it's not that bad, isn't "hd" should be. help???

ps- wasn't sure topic post under...

 

the hd in imoviehd, means can edit hd video, not produce hd quality movie basic quicktime movie.
