dropped iPhone4 in toilet

i dropped phone in toilet less 10 seconds , took out. made mistake of pressing lock button i'm afraid short circuited because of that. flickered on second turned off. dried off outside towel put in rice 30 mins took apart , put parts in container of rice 16/17 hours. after put , seemed working fine except screen reallllyyyy dim. thought maybe lcd screen changed new 1 , didn't work either. chances still work? should leave in rice longer? should soak in alcohol? please.

 

buy new phone.
