Best Buy, should I be mad at you, or myself? Was given wrong gen


after work today went local best buy new ipad. decided on white 32 gigabyte wifi. best buy employee helping me pulled ipad out along 1 person helping. held onto while tried figure out case wanted buy.

when ready buy had wait 10 minutes turn. had switch registers when $50 gift card upgrading phone there didn't work. tell me gift card meant used towards new phone, not other purchases, got work. late, , didn't care total. case, taxes, 50 gift card, total 545. planning on 16gb , had 499 price stuck in head, didn't click in price lower expected new 32gb.

never holding box, , case covering on counter, bagged , signed. home, @ box, says ipad. opened it, said ipad on back. powered up, noticed low resolution screen. double checked box, small on barcode sticker, says ipad 2.

doh!!!!!

looks @ receipt, says ipad 32 white wifi. noticed price 499 , not 599.

employee new there third gen ipad, grabbed wrong one, both failed notice it. hope didn't sell wrong gen other older customers may never notice. i'm surprised box ipad 2 didn't ipad 2 except smallest font on sticker.

looks i'll have make visit there saturday :(

else given old ipad?
 

hmm, i'd return it.
