glad stumbled onto forum. i've searched, , can't quite find answers. have verizon iphone 4 running 5.01 (9a405), modem firmware 3.0.03. rooted phone using latest version of redsn0w no problems. pushed alltel prl file phone using ssh method, activated phone, , measure used ota programming. phone makes , receives calls , sms. however, didn't read til later patching commcenter bypass signature check data , mms working. downloaded commcenter patch cydia (v.backspace.jp).
comes hard part. every download, every tutorial, seems getting data , mms work , every carrier alltel. tried going "unlockit" site flash apn settings, again, no alltel. can't manually edit settings in settings menu of phone i've read on forums, have option turn data on or off, not manually enter field information. please me? studied carrier plist downloaded phone using ssh , plist editor, can't life of me figure out verizon values need substitute alltel. not new rooting , flashing, been flashing roms since in windows mobile days, , recently, htc , motorola android devices. however, new forum because i'm brand new iphone. don't mean leach, or troll, , please don't flame me not searching, i've read forum after forum until eyes bleed! , sincerely appreciated..
