Windows RDC issues

i posted couple of week attaching windows 2008 server through sonicwall (using netextender)

did , running , tested first @ clients location , house.

last week wouldn't connect (sonicwall rdc fail). client told me vpnd in , working, rebooted , well.

installed quickbooks week , needed test that. tonight tried log in , same issue, can connect via sonicwall rdc fails.

on 2008 unibody mb running 10.5.8 , running rdc 2.01

tried on g4 fw800 running 10.5.8 (not sure of rdc version) , logged in fine, anytime touched keyboard, rdc crash. click on wanted keystroke crash me right out.

fast forward few hours , have laptop somewhere else. downloaded latest version of rdc , logged in fine windows 2008 server, fired qb , able mouse , use keyboard.

well??

except can't again. exited , can once again connect via sonicwall not @ through rdc - either version.

have looked through old threads , see there airport issues. have airport express @ home not now. g4 has wired connection , have been using wireless on laptop. both home , using comcast provider. not sure network w2008 server on has bunch of employees regularly vpn in no trouble (i mac user though).

reset modem etc tomorrow , can plug laptop network via cable, can't understand why worked 1 minute here , won't again. or matter, why log in last week, or log in on g4 , not on laptop.

also, have job i've been using rdc on 2 years , still working fine (tested both rdc versions), though logging xp machine rather windows server.

appreciated. supposed skyping client tomorrow take on invoicing , it's not going work if can't in. :(

hey

welcome world of dns.

there couple of things need do.

- add dns server of network trying access network settings
- additionally can access server ip, presume you've been trying name in rdc?
