What is the lifespan of Ipad 2

lifespan mean how long able run latest version of ios? figure has @ least same iphone 4s since have same cpu, gpu, , ram, , 4s has lower clock speed.

assuming apple continues offering 3 iphones, 4s should around while. fall "middle" phone, , next yr (fall 2013) "bottom" phone. if that's case should able run ios 7 until ios 8 comes out (assuming fall 2014).

trying figure out lifespan since i'm thinking of buying refurb ipad 2. think it's 2.5 yrs. appreciate thoughts though.

 

judging 3gs still being supported in ios (i'd expect dropped year), , ipad 1 akin iphone 4 (and possibly dropped ios7 or 8), i'd around 2015 ipad 2 - give or take year either side.
