Replacing DVD drive in a Core Duo iMac

i'm planning on selling old 32bit core duo imac dvd drive in dead , wondering how difficult replace drive or whether i'd best off getting external sell it?

i'm more comfortable replacing myself if can replacement it's slot loading don't imagine readily available. thing is, reckon not having working dvd drive knock fair bit off resale value want find solution.
