Map Pro DVD making noises at StandBy

i got new bluray burner "lg-bh12ls38".

works great, recognized macpro without issues, tried ripping several dvd's , bluray discs without problems (i haven't tried burning bluray of today).

issue when not using burner can hear small "click" @ random intervals 5-10 minutes, typical noise made when drive tries read dvd, there no dvd , not trying access nothing (even when computer idle)

has clue that?

 

many people have asked this. nobody has answer it. known workaround leave disc in drive. doesn't have blu-ray disc.
