don't know else, haven't touched home button on ipad in weeks. find easier pinch 5 fingers home screen, swipe reveal multitask bar, , swipe left , right fast switch apps.
i've begun using home button less , less , find faster use multitouch gestures. though don't agree article slicing bezel, agree ipad, home button getting less useful. once try yourself, might come similar conclusion. it's more cumbersome reach down push it, , screen, plus there have been many times when found myself looking button use in orientations.
on iphone, it's different , i'm thinking 1 of reasons still exists on ipad uniformity in ios device line.
well, still used taking screenshots , putting device in dfu mode... suppose program 1 of other buttons play role. 1 less physical button, once less thing break guess.
