After Effects Flickering Light

hey everyone,

have question animation i'm trying accomplish in ae. have layer need make flicker on , off. don't need additional effects, change of lighting around layer, layer needs go visible transparent , forth in quick flicker motion. how can this? thanks!

 

you either use first expression here or try "wiggle" expression transparency channel.

wiggle (5,100)

the "5" represents times per second layer flickers, "100" maximum value (transparency @ 100).

or if want constant off , on, keyframe 1 cycle , copy keyframes, either t100 tot0 or t0 t100*.

*t100 = transparency @ 100, t0 = transparency @ 0.
