no i'm not implying know when new macpro come out. "end of tunnel" when replacement mac pro week. bought 2009 mac pro new 2.5 years ago , there have been little issues day 1 , growing. latest has consumed last 5 weeks ( except 3 day break when brought home find larger issues not resolved, them) local apple store has had 3 weeks, current visit , several days ago decision made , them, replace it. people there have been great , appreciative of , apple's decision. problems included issues hard drives, optical drives , operating system software. yes, i'm frustrated not having main computer long, news many faceted. first, had mac book pro partially fill in. second, have learned lots ipad can do, , third i'm getting new ( not re-furbished) mac pro , better 1 had, wait has been rewarded.
perhaps being redundant, can not enough things techs @ local apple store or appreciated attitude of apple replace machine. interestingly, apple data base shows few problems 2009 mac pro, mine "one slipped through". enjoying power , flexibility of mac pro , many trouble free years of service.
oh, question people ask is, "will upset if announce upgrade shortly after new machine.?" answer no, technology moves on , have services needs , desires.
what sort of problems experiencing hard drives, optical drives, , operating system?
