Getting Battery Replaced

so have opted battery replaced. had service battery warning, , apple rep told me on phone honour applecare , replace battery free of charge.
live no near apple store don't know how can it, know have done before end of july.
battery barely holds charge. mean, it's okay, ~2 hrs if can done , 3 years out of it, will.
anyway point.
apple's website says data preserved. not don't trust them or anything, wanted user stories.
please, if have gotten battery replaced apple, tell me how went? have 3rd party ram , hard drive installed.

put original hdd , ram in make sure.
battery replacement should go fine.
going take plate off , replace battery.
turn on see thats it.
