i have canon vixia hf m300 , record hd video in mts files.

want to:

1 - stream video network hard drives hardwired network on wireless router (airport extreme) macbook pro , dell laptop.

2 - retain high quality files - if files need converted don't want lose quality

3 - edit video - preferably able remove parts of video , not store unnecessary parts of it. i'd able make nice video music , effects

please me meet goals above.

problem see streaming videos. easier put videos on external drive. due problems sharing between computers on wifi, of course don't know full power of networks power.
if can stream them quality easier , less expensive. can't part, trying save possible headaches , time if network slow. have never had luck sharing videos on network, files big. granted i'm using cable internet airpot extreme.
