good evening readers!
i'm graphic design/photography major @ school , need help/advice on picking new computer.
first thing need out of way fact on tight budget. being full time student @ csu burn hole in pocket (can't imagine @ private institutions). @ rate, i've done enough research round search down 2 options. first option, 2.3ghz mac mini. chose 1 out of options available because it's affordable, , ram. getting quick i5 processor quicker upgrading ram 8gbs no problem me.
second choice base imac in 1 has 2.5ghz quad radeon graphics.
working in of adobe's creative suite software (photoshop, illustrator, indesign, light room). substituting sony vegas final cut studio. no gaming ever. have xbox 360, , ps3 refuse game on mac.
don't need portability either why i'm not looking @ macbook pros don't need desktop either.
i'm choosing mac on windows because need reliability. love windows system crashes in middle of project , need restart on again. can't have that.

machines running windows 7 no more or less reliable in terms of crashes os x.
have software licenses already? if have windows licenses doesn't make sense switch os x.
