Thunderbolt Display on Glass Desk

hi all,

redid home office , installed glass desk. ordered thunderbolt display, should arrive in few days. question have whether thunderbolt display has kind of padding on bottom, or if hard aluminum.

, if hard aluminum, happen know can silicon pads or silicon stripping put under it? wouldn't want put hard aluminum directly onto glass surface...
