when 2012 imacs come out plan on buying upgraded one. (everything except ram, i'll crucial) means i'll getting 1 tb hdd + 256 ssd (unless 2/3 tb hdd's , 512 ssd's) haven't thought of until now, how use migration assistant move applications ssd , of info hdd?
also, able access /jeremy/music on ssd use files hdd or have make separate folders on hdd , link them finder sidebar , have actual user folders empty? basically, there way link hdd files ssd drive "feels" files on ssd?
explain of questions, use setup assistant instead of migration assistant. setup assistant occurs when turn on new mac first time. sa , ma cousins, similar different. primary difference ma create user account , migrate data new account whereas sa migrate normal user account. it's extremely simple if read directions.
