Question about the iPad battery life

i wondering of ipad , ipad 2 if you've noticed battery life diminish on time? ask because main factor in me getting extended warranty.

naturally battery life of apple device can , diminish on time. can small things prevent happening drastically(let battery die before charging again).. unfortunately unavoidable.

extended if battery life means you.
