Itunes Gift Cards

when using itunes gift cards, can codes shared different apple id or not ?

have itunes account gift card, in place , available credit.

howver, security reasons, want mate have own itunes account, using same gift card. way share same credit. is-do-able ?

also, when credit used up, how permantly assoiate new gift card itunes account ?

@ firft glace, if click "redeem" link in quick links scetion, takes page enter code.. looks don't need sign in. in case looks like, on "per perchase" "per-rental" basis.

reason why ask, have no credit card on file. when set itunes account, chose enter redeeom code instead. since looks valid card, change when new card, credit still work automatically now.

 

the gift card knowledge has "one time use" code. meaning click redeem, enter code, makes sign in, , applies entire amount of gift card itunes account. example, redeem $50 gift card, wipes gift card out , have $50 available use in itunes store can use wish. can not share single gift card between multiple apple ids, why lot of time retailers sell multiple gift cards single package, such $40 pack containing 4x$10 cards.
