Is there any dongle to get a USB stick to read on iPad?

okay, have usb jump drive 20 word documents on number of videos , pictures, wondering if there possible way dongle or accessory allow ipad read these files? if so, what's called , how cost?

does dropbox work on ipad? if so, create account , upload docs , movies there , ipad.
