Iphone calendar entries

do have multiple calendars on iphone (such 'school', 'home', 'work') etc?

if so, check have default calendar set:

1. tap settings, mail, contacts, calendars.
2. tap default calendar.
3. select calendar - example 'home'.
4. open calendar app , try schedule event.
