i'd -- once , -- ditch original @yahoo.com email used use apple id.
affect beside old apple.com online purchase history (hardware macs, ipods, etc.) , inability redownload itunes tracks bought under older @yahoo.com based account? balance on existing itunes account can have purchases "gifted" new itunes @me.com account, , existing itunes plus/aac music should easy import in itunes.
i've been putting off number of online purchases including upgrade lion, additional mas purchases, , itunes movie content kids until figured out.
