bootcamp

hey guys,
love mac, , don't want put concerned windows on it,lol.
but, have program or 2 need , cant 1 reason or on mac, soooo if use bootcamp put windows partition on open these files , run them, going usual microsoft problems infecting lovely mac, or not? see says save first, how go protecting stuff before using bootcamp?
sorry still quite new aspects of macs :)

i don't blame you! feel same way, , have been able find mac equivalents windows apps used use.
which ones?
if you're referring windows malware, none of can run on mac os x or affect mac partition, unless intentionally enable access, involve installing 3rd party app enable windows read/write mac-formatted partition.

don't need 3rd party antivirus app keep mac malware-free. macs not immune malware, no true viruses exist in wild can run on mac os x, , there never have been since released 10 years ago. cannot infect mac visiting website, unzipping file, opening email attachment or joining network. malware in wild can affect mac os x handful of trojans, cannot infect mac unless actively install them, , can avoided basic education, common sense , care in software install. also, mac os x snow leopard , lion have anti-malware protection built in, further reducing need 3rd party antivirus apps.

run windows apps on mac, need install windows via boot camp or use parallels or vmware fusion.

if don't have windows license, can use crossover run applications. not windows apps compatible crossover. check site compatible apps.
