do guys new airport utility version 6, thats out?
personally, hate it. apple scrapped allot of stuff, including profiles , ability change profiles configurations based on location .... 1 thing sent feedback on, lasted while... ah well..
on plus side, more simplfied average 'joe'. gets me, coz allot advanced stuff, printers, airtunes disableing etc.. screapped too.. logging info etc turn on/off advanced user if wanted. also, seems now, defuaft, apple have disabled nat airport, relying on users router instead.
thiis used give 10.x.x.x range.. different subnet. i'm guessing done turning on nat on airport 6.0? preferred this, setup.
also, if have 2 networks (airport express in case, , wireless router), both same ssid & passwords set. mis-match , not able connect the ap ? if so, if order me set up, i'll need temporarly diasable wireless on routers ap.
well last firmware release screwed airport extreme had revert. new utility needs (or 1 comes utility).
have no plans upgrade tried of having new releases f-up otherwise working devices.
