Adjusting Clip Date and Time in iMovie 11 not working

i digitizing old analog movies using analog input of dv camera again connected firewire port of mac mini. when importing analog clips clips current date , time. using adjust clip date , time command in imovie can adjust time of clip. works of time, clips not working.

when adjust date , time clip gets correct time , date , jumps correct folder year. fine far. problem when quit imovie , restart it, clip date , time has been reset old value. wrong - how can fix this?

using imovie 11 (version 9.0.4) under lion. event library contains 3.8tb of movie clips.

if recorded video camcorder date , time weren’t set accurately, video might show in incorrect chronological order in event library after import imovie. put video clips in correct chronological order in event library, can adjust dates , times.
