Need advice on which Mac Pro to buy

have dual 2.0 ppc g5 i'm looking replace newer intel mac pro.

i'm wondering 1 best bang buck. looking @ 2009 2.66 quad core (mb871ll) because of price , seems better previous models. or worth buying new 64bit model (mc560ll) seems geekbench scores close don't know if can justify new machine being twice cost.

don't want spend more have @ same time want usable around 4-5 years.

basic video editing final cut ok on g5 it's render , export times killing me.

if you've had enough patience tolerate g5 long, you'll able wait month or 2 see apple's plans new model. people believe new model released in march when intel starts shipping new generation of xeon processors. others think mac pro may die apple focuses on higher volume machines have mac pro benefits use of thunderbolt peripherals.
