iPhone app store refuses my password


(skip bottom if don't want read background on issue i'm having)
awhile back, decided t change apple id password security purposes. managed no problems. later, though, update showed in phone's app store. told update, normal, , prompted me password, normal, said entered password wrong. tried again. still wrong. figured must having bad day, , entered 3rd time , carefully, after informed me account has been disabled or , have reset password because it's been entered incorrectly many times. didn't know going on, played along. went , reset password again. after doing so, went app update. same thing happened. ended resetting password 3rd time. after being told still entering incorrectly in app store, decided things messed apple somehow broke it. tried searching online solutions, , found people similar problems. apparently, had problems fixed going setting, app store, clicking on apple id sign out , sign in new password. did too. didn't work. think tried couple other things, none of them worked. gave , put off until had more time , greater motivation research problem. here again, on spring break. haven't tried updating of apps, cuz know won't accept password. else has been workign fine, since have time, figrued tried out again. went app store, entered password hoping it'd work , there sort of delay on password changes being implemented in app store or something, lo , behold, told not had entered password incorrectly, decided disable account , i'd have change password. bullcrap, did anyway. and, go figure, didn't @ all. nothign changed. in, i'd go app store , still told me account disabled upon first attempt @ entering password. did'nt bother telling me entered wrong. yet, logged on website , in itunes fine. worked fin, except app store, claimed account disabled. internet went searching answers. found stuff, none of helpful. got tired of trying things , playing phone. apaprently, can download new apps absolutely no trouble. i'm not prompted password then; download/install straight away. same thing happens if try use itunes store. i've tried contacting apple make them sort out, they're being difficult , haven't gotten through. here am, posting sort of rant, hoping reads , has idea what's going on.
1 point of interest when reset password, starts off asking me apple id. what's interesting it's auto-filled in apple id in email format, doesn't accept because that's not apple id. have delete "@*****.com" part before proceeding.

tl;dr, works fine, except app store on phone claims account disabled. can't download app updates, , can't figure out why. appreciated.
