4mm Crack in iPad screen

i cleaning ipad tonight , noticed small crack in screen. i've had ipad 2 year , damage ever. i'm little bummed. crack spread; easy repair?

 

if internal apple replace defective. (assuming in warranty still). if external or out of warranty, buy part on ebay , following replacements ifixit.com

should cost 100$.
