yes.

depends on apps use. necessary if want hand write notes or use art apps need one. 1 have responsive, though hard precise since got such large tip (has large).

nice use when you've got screen extremely clean , don't want fingerprints on bit, , of course lets use gloves on if ever have occasion.

i'm considering buying jot pro , trying that, has clear disc tip can more precise. $30 though ive held off far.

if kind of interested wouldn't buy 1 overpriced in store $15 or $20, can same thing on amazon $5 or , nice have around if dont use much. don't buy .50 cent ones arn't responsive.

apps.... ive used in note taking apps, little sketches combined text (my handwriting sucks stick type) , such more fleshed out idea notes. , full fledged art apps art rage, sketchbook pro, etc. there few slow paced games ive used thats never needed.
