2011 Lion Air: Anyone using 5GHz wifi N ?

with 2011 lion based air on wifi n 5ghz,
keep getting connection timeouts, works fine on 2.4ghz.

using 5ghz lion , new air ?

connect 1st time,
after sleeping or restart not find 5ghz network
, attempting connect give timeout error.

i'd prefer use 5ghz double transfer rates.

 

works fine me, ipad , iphone....the culprit router rather air, if in doubt, checked out....it's new after all.
