hello all. have 3gs bought used , unlocked use carrier on it. running 4.5.3 on , upgraded 5.0.1. pretty sure shouldn't have that. can jailbreak redsn0w can't carrier work. options here? don't suppose can go os 4 can i?
have 3gs, os 5.0.1, modem firmware 05.16.05, serial #'s 3,4,5 #'s 931.
have been reading bunch of different walkthroughs seem getting conflicting , confusing info can do.
have redsn0w 0.9.10b4 , have restored factory settings through itunes can potentially go ipad baseband 6.15 when select option message saying not work on build dates 11-35 or later. later mean newer? or older? have older built 3gs wording later me means older.
@ point looking , advise should do. if can phone unlocked can use current carrier without going ipad route i'm that. if ipad baseband way can that. please help.
edit: forgot mention using imac os x computer.
by later, mean newer. 3gs made in 2011, week 35 or above. yours made in 2009.
